About the New York Imperials The Imperials were amongst the four expansion teams added to FABL for the 1962 season, joining the Dallas Wranglers as new additions to the Continental Association. Owned by Washington, DC businessman Ed Ball, the club plays in the former home of the NY Stars, Dyckman Stadium.
