| Omori Lifts Bees to 4-3 Win | The Osaka Sailors extended their losing streak with a defeat by the Vesutan Bees.
Vesutan left fielder Kyozo Omori was instrumental in helping the Bees triumph, 4-3, over the Osaka Sailors. Omori went 3 for 3 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Bees now have a record of 21-25 with the win over Osaka.
Omori contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Vesutan get the win.
"We're not winning games right now," said Osaka manager Bill Sherrill. "But I'm not going to denigrate the effort by the guys." | |
