| Kites Make Sailors 5-1 Losers | The Kinboshi Kites handed the Osaka Sailors a loss at Kotei Stadium. The final score was 5-1. Fusao Tokunaga was one of the major contributors for Kinboshi. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. Narushi Nagaoka, the winner, is now 4-2. He struck out 4 and walked 4 over 6.1 innings, while allowing 1 run on 4 hits.
