| Kyoto Nets 3-2 Win Versus Rams | Owls Park was host to some intense drama.
The Kyoto Owls locked up a win at Owls Park, knocking off the Rakisuta Rams, 3-2. On the mound for Kyoto was right-hander Kuniaki Usui. He played a major role in the triumph. The win makes Kyoto 34-39.
Takanori Matsui was the walk-off hero for Kyoto. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Owls second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Owls manager Takejiro Yonemura.
