 | Nagao Bewilders Stars, 2-0 Monday, September 30th , 1974 Vesutan Bees pitcher Niou Nagao blanked the Nagasaki Stars, 2-0, at Vesutan Stadium, tossing a 3-hitter while issuing 6 walks and collecting 10 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Nagao said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
