| Sailors Get Clutch Win Versus Kobe | Kotei Stadium was the site of quite a ballgame.
The Osaka Sailors defeated the Kobe Bulls, 5-4. Right Fielder Sotatsu Sato deserved a large share of the credit. Sato went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Sailors. Osaka goes to 51-88, Kobe to 85-54.
Hiroji Orido was the walk-off hero for Osaka. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sailors pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Sato.
