Not everyone stuck through the 50-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

The Vesutan Bees powered past the Nagasaki Stars, 10-4, at Fukuoka Stadium. Hoshihiko Motomura provided some of the pop. Tomatoes hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Michiya Sasaki collected save number 1.

Vesutan left fielder Korekiyo Saito helped the Bees go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Saito hit a run-scoring single off Nagasaki pitcher Katsunan Umemoto.

"This was one of those games you love to be a part of," said Motomura.

With the win, Vesutan goes to 69-60, while the Stars fall to 76-49.
