| Yamauchi Tosses Shutout Against Hosho Tuesday, August 6th , 1963 The Hosho Reliables met their match today in Yokohama hurler Fumimaro Yamauchi. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," Hosho skipper Shun Kawamura said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat."
In the 6-0 victory, Yamauchi whiffed 5 and gave up 1 walk.
