The Falcons offered little resistance to Maeda, who stopped them on 5 hits, fanned 2 and walked 0. "It just felt right today," the right-handed Maeda told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." Up to now Maeda has recorded a record of 4-3. In 12 starts he has fanned 40 batters in 74 innings with a 1.82 ERA.
