 | Fujiwara Dominates Rakisuta Thursday, July 31st , 1975 In a remarkable performance, Kyoto Owls starter Takamitsu Fujiwara beat the Rakisuta Rams, 3-0, in an impressive 3-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Owls hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Rakisuta manager Kinzo Yoshimura said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
