With the season over and the final out recorded, teams are already looking towards the next year. Coaches, trainers, and staff are up the next day at the crack of dawn, moving pitching mounds into place, setting up equipment, loosening their arms, and prepping plans for the players they will be working with. With the doors of their development complexes open, organizations can now send players to their facility for personalized offseason work, in order to improve specific aspects of their game.

The last pitch has been thrown, and the last out has been made. All the cheers have subsided. The baseball season is over for the fans, but for the Dixie League decision-makers, it is just starting again. The season never really ends for general managers, who start their "second season" today. The front office staff is working overtime analyzing hirings and firings and planning out a strategy that will get their team to the championship next season.
