The Nashville Chieftains and George Murray have parted ways. It was announced today by club officials that George Murray had been dismissed as the team's manager.
Chieftains GM told reporters that "certain goals were mutually agreed upon this season and, in our estimation, they have not been reached. Our team has not made the progress we were promised."
Murray told BNN that he is "proud of what has been accomplished in my tenure as the Chieftains manager. We have a better club now than when I first got here. I'm just sorry it ended this way." | | |
