| Bees Rally For Late Win Over Kites | The Vesutan Bees beat the Kinboshi Kites, 6-3, at Konohana Stadium. Kyozo Omori was 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The three-time All-Star was a menace to Kinboshi all day. Kiyoshi Inouye notched his 24th save in 31 chances. Vesutan is now 68-70, Kinboshi 61-77.
Omori had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch slider from Matoba Miwa, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bees a 6-3 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for Omori.
"That's a solid team effort right there," said Omori. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
