| Bees Slap 6-2 Loss on Bulls | Kazuo Kawano helped his team muscle past the Kobe Bulls, 6-2. In the game, the Vesutan center fielder was 3-5 with 3 singles and a walk. Vesutan used the timely hitting of Yoringa Ueda to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bees on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," Kawano told a local reporter after the game.
Vesutan is now 66-68, while Kobe is 80-53.
