| Bees 4-1 Victors Over Kinboshi | The Vesutan Bees reigned over the Kinboshi Kites in damp conditions.
Chiko Abe brought his A-game to help Vesutan defeat the Kinboshi Kites, 4-1. Abe got the win, improving to 3-6. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Picking up the save was Kiyoshi Inouye. He's now 19 for 26 in save chances.
Kohei Bai was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI for Vesutan. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Saimei Hayashida. It was his 30th hit of the season.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Vesutan manager Jack Fletchings.
With the win, Vesutan goes to 60-63, while the Kites fall to 56-67.
