| Bees Handed 4-2 Loss by Kinboshi | The game between Kinboshi and Vesutan is in the books, despite a little rain.
The Kinboshi Kites topped the Vesutan Bees, 4-2, in Western League action at Vesutan Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Kinboshi pitcher and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, native Bill Baker. Toyoji Tsuda earned the save for Kinboshi, his 8th of the year.
Kinboshi took the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 3rd, Munemitsu Kawasaki stroked a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Kites.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Baker said.
The third-place Kites are now 63-53, the Bees 57-59.
