| Yamakawa Goes Distance in 4-1 Win | Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Kobe Bulls take on the Vesutan Bees.
Kobe got a strong outing from Roku Yamakawa as the Bulls defeated the Vesutan Bees, 4-1, at Matsunoki Stadium. Kobe is now 60-42, 5 games up in the Western League.
Yamakawa, who finished 4th in the WL in innings pitched with 238.0 last year, pitched a complete game for Kobe. Yamakawa surrendered 5 hits over 9 innings and struck out 3. With the win, he moves to 12-7 on the season.
"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Vesutan manager Jack Fletchings.
