Bees Rally Late to Nip Kites
The Vesutan Bees picked up a win at Vesutan Stadium, topping the Kinboshi Kites, 5-4. On the mound for Vesutan was right-hander Bill Knox. He played a principal role in the triumph. Toshimichi Yamamoto snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-4 on the season. Matoba Miwa suffered the loss. Today's win puts Vesutan at 51-42, while Kinboshi falls to 43-49.

Kyozo Omori was the walk-off hero for Vesutan. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bees left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Winning is always a team effort," Omori said after the game.
