| Bulls Win at Vesutan, 3-2 | The Kobe Bulls converted a terrific effort from starter Tatsuharu Oto into a win over the Vesutan Bees at Vesutan Stadium. The Bulls won the game by a final score of 3-2. Oto, the winner, moves to 13-5. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 1 and giving up 1 walk. The win gives Kobe a season record of 51-38.
The Bulls got a big at-bat from third baseman Masu Osaki. For the game, Osaki was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Kobe a 3-2 lead.
