| Yamamura Now 9-9 Following 5-0 Win | Yoshimatsu Yamamura, who finished 3rd in the WL in ERA with 2.46 last year, never let the Bees get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Bulls to a win, 5-0. The Western League-leading Bulls are 50-37.
In his 119-pitch effort, Yamamura allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings. He walked 3 and struck out 5.
