| Vesutan Beats Osaka, 5-3 | The Vesutan Bees and Osaka Sailors completed their game despite the rain.
The Vesutan Bees defeated the Osaka Sailors, 5-3, in Western League action at Kotei Stadium. Vesutan pitcher Bill Knox had a standout performance. Vesutan now has a record of 46-38 with the win.
Vesutan took advantage of an error in the top of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Kichiro Okano hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Bees in front, 4-2.
"When Bill is on, he can really move the ball around," said Vesutan manager Jack Fletchings.
