| Falcons Turn Back Bees, 3-2 | Fukuoka pitcher Sadakazu Minami did his part in helping his team beat the Vesutan Bees, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Yuushuu Nakata closed out the game, earning his 4th save. After today's action, Fukuoka sits at 34-39, while Vesutan falls to 30-48.
Fukuoka used the timely hitting of Yuigo Fukunaga to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Falcons ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We put together a nice win," Fukunaga said.
