| Amano Socks 2 Home Runs in 6-5 Kobe Win | The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Kobe fans at Matsunoki Stadium.
The Kobe Bulls topped the Vesutan Bees, 6-5, with right fielder Toshitake Amano playing a big role. Amano hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Bulls in the win. Kobe goes to 44-28. The win puts them 5 games up in their division.
Had Shissho Inoue not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Inoue hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Bulls.
"I still think this team can play even better," Amano told the Kobe Gazette.
