Tsuneo Oda never let the Kites get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Bees to a win, 3-0. By defeating Kinboshi, the 5th-place Bees improved to 30-38.

Oda, who dominated for Vesutan, earned the victory to move to 3-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 3. Kinboshi batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Tsuneo is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Vesutan manager Jack Fletchings.
