Bulls Notch 4-3 Win Versus Stars | The Kobe Bulls did just enough to sneak past the Nagasaki Stars, 4-3, at Matsunoki Stadium. Kobe pitcher Kiyomitsu Wada, in particular, had a standout performance. Kobe has a record of 17-44, placing them last in the Western League.
Kobe went in front, 3-1, on Shinpei Abe's 4th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Abe hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Nagasaki pitcher Tatsuo Sato visibly perturbed.
"Enjoyed this one," Wada told the Kobe Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow." | |
