The Osaka Sailors used a great performance from Genpaku Matsumoto, who is tied for 7th in the WL in complete games with 3, to beat the Vesutan Bees, 3-1, at Kotei Stadium. Matsumoto picked up the win for Osaka, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-3. The Sailors raised their record to 20-36.
