| Bees Drop Kites, 2-1 | The Vesutan Bees picked up a win at Fukuoka Stadium, courtesy of Art Marx. The left-hander helped his team stop the Kinboshi Kites, 2-1. In 8.2 innings, Marx surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Haruki Ogawa locked down his 6th save.
With Vesutan leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Marx hit a run-scoring single off Kinboshi hurler Ryusuke Maeda. It was the 4th hit of the season for Marx and put his team ahead, 2-0.
