| Bees Top Sailors to Even Record | Vesutan Bees starter Shuhei Ichikawa pitched effectively against the Osaka Sailors at Kotei Stadium. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 7-0 win. The winner was Ichikawa. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Takahiko Kurata. Vesutan has run its win streak to 6 consecutive.
Vesutan second baseman Tokugawa Ito contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 50th hit of the season and put the Bees ahead, 1-0.
