Soggy conditions did not keep Vesutan and Fukuoka from playing their scheduled game.

The timely hitting of Yoringa Ueda helped the Vesutan Bees down the Fukuoka Falcons, 12-1. Ueda went 1-1 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Bees. Tsuneo Oda was the winning pitcher. Over 9 innings, he allowed 1 run on 7 hits, with no walks and 6 strikeouts.
