| Bulls Deal Vesutan 7-2 Defeat | The Kobe Bulls picked up a win at Matsunoki Stadium, downing the Vesutan Bees, 7-2. On the mound for Kobe was right-hander Tatsuharu Oto, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Oto. He threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Masatoshi Sakai. With the win, Kobe upped its record to 27-17.
The Bulls picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Tatsuharu is good at sticking to his strengths," said Kobe manager Ikuhiko Murata.
