The Kinboshi Kites picked up a win at Konohana Stadium, knocking off the Vesutan Bees, 8-2. Starting pitcher Saimei Hayashida was a big reason why. The 4th-place Kites are now 19-20, the Bees 17-21.

The fans who filled the stands at Konohana Stadium to watch the Western League action seemed to enjoy the game.

"We didn't play well enough to win," Vesutan skipper Jack Fletchings said.
