| Bees Spill Falcons, 6-3 | Vesutan and Fukuoka took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
Bill Knox, who is tied for 5th in the WL in strikeouts with 38, had a strong outing for the Vesutan Bees against the Fukuoka Falcons at Fukuoka Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. The 5th-place Bees sport a record of 17-20.
Vesutan used a clutch at-bat from Tokugawa Ito to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bees ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
Said Vesutan manager Jack Fletchings: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
