| Bees Hand Nagasaki 2-1 Loss | The Nagasaki Stars wasted an impressive 9-inning effort from starter Yugoro Koyama, falling, 2-1, to the Vesutan Bees at Nagasaki Prefecture Stadium. Today's win puts Vesutan at 14-18, while Nagasaki falls to 18-13.
Kyozo Omori had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With the bases empty, he hit a triple. It helped send Vesutan to the win.
"Tough loss," said Nagasaki manager Okura Ichimura. "But we'll learn from it."
