| Bulls Drop Bees, 4-3 | The Kobe Bulls and Vesutan Bees played an entertaining game for Vesutan Stadium patrons.
The Kobe Bulls picked up a win at Vesutan Stadium, downing the Vesutan Bees, 4-3. On the mound for Kobe was right-hander Yoshimatsu Yamamura, who played a pivotal role in the win. Vesutan drops to 12-15.
Tatsuharu Oto had a big 2-run home run for the Bulls in the top of the sixth inning. With Kobe leading 2-0 and a runner on 3rd, he sized up a splitter from Bill Knox, who is tied for 10th in the WL in wins with 2, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Bulls on top, 4-0.
"We played hard and won," said Yamamura. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
