The outcome was not decided until the very end at Vesutan Stadium.

The Vesutan Bees picked up a win at Vesutan Stadium, downing the Nagasaki Stars, 4-3, in 14 innings. On the mound for Vesutan was right-hander Masatoshi Sakai, who played a pivotal role in the win. Vesutan reliever An Ba was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Norikazu Hamasaki took the loss.

The Bees got a clutch hit from first baseman Shougo Iwai. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bees.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Jack Fletchings, the Vesutan manager.

Nagasaki, with the loss, is still a robust 10-4.
