| Bees Walk It Off for 6th Win of Season | The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.
The Vesutan Bees trumped the Osaka Sailors, 5-3, at Vesutan Stadium. Vesutan left fielder Kyozo Omori was terrific. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Masatoshi Sakai earned the win, while four-time All-Star Haruki Ogawa took the loss for Osaka.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Omori hit a cutter from Matsu Nakamoto for a 2-run home run. The Bees, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
Omori called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
Vesutan goes to 6-5.
