| Late Rally Leads to 5-3 Bees Triumph | The Vesutan Bees got a rain-soaked win over the Kinboshi Kites.
The Vesutan Bees picked up a win at Konohana Stadium, downing the Kinboshi Kites, 5-3. On the mound for Vesutan was right-hander Hank Walker, who played a pivotal role in the win. With the loss, Kinboshi sinks to 4-5.
Vesutan used a timely hit from former first round draft pick Shinri Fujiwara to get the win. The shortstop delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bees on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was huge.
Fujiwara attributed the win to his team's "determination."
