| Bulls Win at Kinboshi, 5-2 | The Kobe Bulls picked up a win at Konohana Stadium, downing the Kinboshi Kites, 5-2. On the mound for Kobe was right-hander Shiroku Terada, who played a pivotal role in the win. The victory makes Kobe 1-1.
Kobe used the timely hitting of Atsushi Tanaka to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bulls on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Terada.
