| Rams Zap Owls, 6-3 | Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Owls Park.
Rams third baseman Kihachi Harada put his stamp on his team's 6-3 win over the Kyoto Owls. Harada went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for Rakisuta in the contest. Kisaku Arita got the win, improving to 7-8. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 4. Yamada Yamanaka closed the game out for Rakisuta, earning his 6th save.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Sukeichi Onodera? The Rakisuta right fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rams on top, 3-2. For the game, Onodera had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"Nice win for us," said Onodera. "Now we'll go after the next one."
The second-place Rams bumped their record to 61-50.
