| Yokohama Hot Streak Continues with 4-3 Win | Wet weather did not postpone the Yokohama-Sapporo ballgame.
Masatoshi Sakai, who is tied for 10th in the EL in strikeouts with 124, propelled his team to victory over the Sapporo Bears. The final score was 4-3, Yokohama. Sapporo has now lost 4 straight.
Rkuemon Endo, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Kingfishers organization, had a direct impact on the outcome. Endo contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Yokohama up, 4-0.
"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Sakai.
