Sukeichi Jimbo helped his team muscle past the Sapporo Bears, 8-4. In the game, the Denki center fielder went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. The win lifted the Denki record to 66-58.

Bokkai Sakaguchi had a big solo home run for the Dynamics in the top of the fourth inning. With Denki leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Katsumasa Hashimoto and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Dynamics on top, 3-1.

"I thought we competed really well," said Dynamics manager Carl Johnson. "I thought the energy was really good."
