| Sapporo Loses, 5-2, in 10 | The Hosho Reliables and Sapporo Bears put on quite a show.
The Hosho Reliables picked up a win at Sapporo Stadium, knocking off the Sapporo Bears, 5-2, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Fumimaro Yamauchi played a key role in the triumph. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Reliables.
It could have been a different outcome for Hosho, had it not been for Billy McCullough, the two-time All-Star . McCullough contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth inning to put Hosho up, 3-2.
"I like how we're playing right now," said McCullough.
