Rakisuta Rams starter Kinya Wada pitched a strong game against the Kyoto Owls at Rakisuta Stadium, leading the Rams to victory, 8-3. The Rams improved their record to 44-48 by beating Kyoto.
In the bottom of the 5th, Rakisuta took the lead on a 2-run single by Go Yagi. At the time, the Rams were trailing 1-0, but Yagi's hit with two outs against Kyoto pitcher Harry Caltagirone put them in front, 2-1.
