| Rams Drop Bears, 5-2 | The Rakisuta Rams rode a solid performance from 30-year-old starting pitcher Morihiro Arakaki to a win, beating the Sapporo Bears, 5-2, at Sapporo Stadium. In 9 innings, Arakaki surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The 5th-place Rams have a record of 26-31.
Rakisuta took the lead, 4-1, on Kannon Yamamoto's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Sapporo pitcher Mario de los Santos in the top of the seventh.
