| Kyoto Rallies for 6-3 Win | Toyohiro Wada, who is tied for 5th in the EL in runs scored with 48, knocked in 3 runs to help the Kyoto Owls win, 6-3, over the Yokohama Kingfishers. Picking up the save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Kenshin Kon. With the win, the Owls have a record of 42-29.
Morioka, Japan native Toyohiro Wada had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the eighth for the Owls. With Kyoto trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Wada.
