| Arakawa Hits 2 home runs in Kingfishers Win | Yokohama and Denki took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
Kingfishers catcher Sukeyasu Arakawa left his mark on his team's 6-3 win over the Denki Dynamics. Arakawa, who leads the EL in home runs with 10, was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Yokohama in the contest. The winning pitcher was Kinzo Yoshimura. He tossed 111 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. Toshinori Osada sewed up the save, his 6th.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Arakawa hit a 2-run home run. It thrust the Kingfishers into the lead, 2-0.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Arakawa.
Yokohama has run its win streak to 5 in a row.
