| Dynamics Suffer 4-3 Loss to Kingfishers | Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Yokohama Kingfishers and Denki Dynamics.
The Yokohama Kingfishers scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Denki Dynamics at Kanagawa Stadium. Yokohama pitcher Kiyoji Nakamura held his own in the contest. In 8.2 innings, Nakamura surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs.
Delivering for the home team was 38-year old third baseman Fujimaro Sonoda. In the bottom of the eighth, the veteran third baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 4-1, Kingfishers.
"Kiyoji did a nice job," said Kingfishers manager Masayoshi Nozawa.
Yokohama, at 20-33, holds down 5th place in the Eastern League.
