The Oakland second baseman did all he could do, going 5-for-7, but it was not enough to overcome the Portland Foresters. They triumphed over Oakland, 9-8, at Oakland Base Ball Park. Tommy Andrews singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
