Martin's job security has been in doubt for some time, as the Maroons have lost games, whiffed on key draft picks and not been able to engineer a turnaround through free agency. Martin seemed ready to move on, and even before today's announcement few observers expected him to stick around into next season. "I will cherish my time in Sacramento," Martin said.
