 | Manager Clary History; Maroons Start Search Wednesday, October 18th , 1916 In an expected move, the Sacramento Maroons fired manager Brian Clary today. The team had not been performing up to expectations, and it was thought to be just a matter of time before the move was made. "We've decided to go in a different direction," Sacramento general manager Seth Martin explained to the assembled press. "We'd like to thank Brian for his service and wish him well in the future." The organization has been mum on possible candidates for the position, but expect to name a replacement soon. |   |
