 | West Coast Association Selects Best Performer Monday, October 16th , 1916 Not every ball that came off Dusty DePasse's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the San Francisco Miners. For his exploits, DePasse was named this week's West Coast Association Player of the Week award. The San Francisco catcher put up 12 hits in 22 at-bats and 1 home run while hitting .545 with 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
