 | Saints Peelman to Miss Year Thursday, October 12th , 1916 Doug Peelman has to call it a season. The Los Angeles Saints third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Portland Foresters and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Peelman was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken hand and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. So far this season, Peelman is hitting .280 with 4 home runs. |   |
