Lee collected 5 hits against the Los Angeles Saints, but he couldn't win the game. Seattle fell, 4-3, in extra innings at Saints Park. "It's a shame we didn't win," Lee said later. "It would have been a very special day if that had happened." "In every one of his at-bats, things were in his favor," Saints manager Lewis Netterville said. "We couldn't keep him from getting ahead in the count and once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get better pitches to hit." Buddy Lee singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
